Spiritualized’s "Spread Your Wings" is a song defined by its layered background sounds and vocals that function less as a vehicle for lyrics and more as part of the soundscape itself. Rather than standing at the forefront, the voice dissolves into the surrounding layers.

Every time I listen to this song, I feel as if I am floating within a space, as though I am dreaming rather than simply listening. Inspired by this sensation, I framed the music video around the experience of drifting through a nightmare, awakening from it, and ultimately arriving at a sense of relief. The structure mirrors this cycle, beginning with an entry into the night and ending by returning from it, creating a circular narrative. While creating this animation, I paid attention to the materials and outlines of the 3D objects, using them to enhance the unstable atmosphere of the space.
